Welcome To St. John's Preschool News!
Summer, 2010

• Wow!  What a whirlwind end to our schoolyear!  Thanks, Parents, for all the support and participation in our many activities during the last few weeks. 
• Also, thanks for keeping your child healthy and well-rested so school could "breed success."  It is difficult for young children to enjoy school when the days start getting longer and bedtimes get later.  FYI: that is why early childhood professionals advise ending the school year while the child is still enjoying it! 
• The Paper Drive will be held on Friday thru Sunday, June 4th - 6th. Bring only paper and cardboard, please.   Preschool Parents: a work schedule will come to your email address...
• St. John's teachers will be working for the next couple of weeks in the building - cleaning, having end of year faculty meetings, and planning for next year.  If you need something, please feel free to email or call (467-3461).
• Remember to READ READ READ all summer long to your child!  It is the best way to encourage being a "good" reader in the years to come.
• Vacation Bible School will be held at St. John's during the week of June 21 - 25.  Our bus travels around town to pick up participants, so call 467-2740 to register your children age 3 through 6th Grade.
• Summer Worship at St. John's:  Sundays @ 8:30 & 10:45 AM and Wednesdays @ 7:30 PM.  All are welcome to come and be fed by God's Word!
• I still have room for more students in both the T-Th and MWF classes.  Spread the word and call the school office to register soon so planning can begin.
• Have a GREAT SUMMER!  A reminder email will be coming to the MWF children about our summer pool party...
